March 3, 2020 – An Update Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Reports of the spread of COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, continue to appear in regional and national media. We realize that this situation may be worrisome. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommend the following five steps to reduce your risk of illness:

1.Wash your hands often. If soap and water are not available, please use an alcohol-based hand rub.
2.If you have a fever, stomach flu or other signs of a virus, seek medical attention.
3.Try to avoid close contact with people who are sick.
4.Avoid touching your nose, mouth and eyes.
5.Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue and discard the tissue or cough and sneeze into your arm.

Below you will find a link to a page on the EB Travel website, which includes a summary of the latest travel guidance. We have also attached the latest guidance from public health authorities.

We realize that the uncertainty may be stressful and remind you that you can always access EB’s Employee Assistance Program service providers. Their websites and phone numbers also appear below.
